The King William Christmas Dreams Story

Many years ago, citizens of this community came together to start a program to assist parents in providing Christmas wishes for the children of King William County and the Town of West Point.  A non-profit organization called King William Emergency Ministry Inc., provided the gifts that were delivered to families each Christmas season.

In 2010, they passed the torch on, and the Christmas Dreams program was born. With the assistance of the King William Department of Social Services, we were able to continue the initiative to provide for our community children.  The program was broadened to include infants through the age of 18.  Community citizens have volunteered to continue to facilitate Christmas wishes each year.

With the help of donations from individuals, churches, businesses, and civic organizations, we have been able to meet the needs of our community children with gifts that supplement families’ Christmas. Each year we service hundreds of local children.  Most recently in 2022, we were able to provide for 361 children.  This effort is dependent on the generosity of our community.  We appreciate the support we have received over the years, and we look forward to many more years of helping to meet the needs for those less fortunate.
