14% of King William county residents under the age of 18 live below the poverty level? That is why it is imperative that we continue this program.

Last year, we were able to assist 361 children in our community to have a memorable Christmas. With such a large need in our community, we need your help!

Make a Christmas Wish Come True

Sponsor a Tree

Set up a tree at your location. Adoption instructions would be on the tag and hung on the tree. Children would be adopted from the tree, and the gifts would be returned to your location.

It will be your responsibility to arrange for gifts to be moved to the King William Ruritan Building.

Adopt a Child

Use the form below to sign up to adopt a child or pick up from one of our local area trees. You will receive information about a child with instructions for providing gifts.

Gifts will be need to be returned on Monday and Tuesday December 4-5, 2023. See below for more detailed instructions.

Make a Donation

If you are unable to adopt a child to shop for, you can sponsor a child by making a tax deductible donation. Donations will be used to purchase items from the children’s wish lists.

What to Know About Adopting a Child

You will be given a tag with an ID number for the child you are adopting. Tags will include suggested items and sizes that can be used while shopping. Please keep the tag and attach to your gifts.
Unwrapped gifts are preferred. You may provide wrapping paper for families to use.
Place gifts in ONE large trash bag with tag attached on the outside.
Please have all gifts returned by December 4, 2023.
